have often wondered what the theatre life was like, and this book did not disappoint.
In my youth, I thought it would be cool to be an actress yet realized I didn’t
have access to that world. Being from the Midwest, it was something I would have
to leave to do (or so my child’s mind thought). I digress ...
I enjoyed
this book and think it would be an excellent resource for those wanting to take
their career to a new level. Told with the honestly that only a true “insider”
could provide, this book provides readers with the realities this business
while preparing them for a long-term career through practical advice. The stories
told are genuine, honest, and impactful.

In addition to her impressive 10-year career as “Glinda” in the Broadway and National Tour production of Wicked, she was the dance captain for the Tony Award-winning Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. She is the author of Waiting In The Wings: How to Launch Your Performing Career on Broadway and Beyond and Founder & Artistic Director of Destination Broadway, the premier musical theatre training program for young aspiring performers. Throughout the years, her evolving career has spanned Broadway, Symphony concerts, pageants, and sharing her many talents with others through teaching.
