BOOK REVIEW - Love on the Run by Suzie Tullett

Love On the Run

With her ex and her kids away, a woman takes up running and meets a new man - but can they make it to the finish line?

Ten years after their divorce, this is the first time Hannah's ex-husband has had the kids for more than a weekend. Her calendar is gloriously blank, ready to be filled with some self-care time.

That is, until Hannah's BFFs push her to join a charity race for which she'll need to start training - after all, she's not doing anything else.

And her mum nags her to have Aunt Dorothy over for a visit.

So much for me-time...

However, Hannah's not in tip-top shape, and running is a challenge to say the least. Maybe Gabe, the nice-looking personal trainer, can help with that? The more Hannah struggles, the more determined she becomes. But then Hannah is tripped up when she finds out Gabe has ashocking secret. Does this mean he'll be out of the running for a place in her heart?

I received an advance review audiobook for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you Suzie Tullett and Rachel's Random Resources. I'm excited to be a part of this tour.

Love on the Run by Suzie Tullett is a laugh out loud hilarious Rom Com that kept me engaged from start to finish. In this book we meet Hannah, 10 years post-divorce, her ex-husband is taking the twins for more than a weekend. Hannah’s calendar is gloriously blank and she’s ready to fill it with self-care time and decompressing.

When her BFF pushes her to join them in a charity race, she realizes she needs time to train. While her mom wants her to visit with her Aunt Dorothy. It leaves little “me time”. Insert Gabe (the hot personal trainer) who may just be able to help her out. Finding out his Gabe’s secret throws Hannah off and has her wondering where things stand.

This book is well written and filled with an eclectic cast of characters that is hard not to fall in love with. Their personalities are well established, and I found myself rooting for Hannah to find her second chance at love. Her BFF is hilarious, and their dynamic had me laughing so hard I cried! The description were spot on and immersed me in the story and not wanting it to end.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who loves a lighthearted, second chance at love book. This one won’t disappoint, and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Overall Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
