I received an advance review book for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you Pam Gittleman and iRead Book Tours. I'm excited to be a part of this tour.
I love this book! It is bright, colorful, and full of
important messages. The illustrations are gorgeous and bring the story to life.
I enjoy that you can read or listen to this book (listen by scanning the QR
code at the beginning of each story. What I like most about this book is the
reimagination of classic nursey rhymes. In a time when we could all use a bit
more kindness, I think this book brings this to life in a fun way. I recently
read that emotional intelligence is a key component to successful leadership and
I think the earlier children begin to learn these lessons the better.
It's hard for me to pick which is my favorite. They are all
very good and chock full of lessons, such as empathy and helping. The focus on
kindness shined through each updated nursey rhyme. This series is timeless, and
I appreciate the focus on positivity throughout the book. This book is a fun
way for little ones to learn and sing along. I couldn’t help singing London
Rain is Falling Down.
I’d love to see this series in every childcare center, home,
library, and preschool as they are fun and engaging way to not only learn about
emotions but also to start conversations about emotions (the emojis are perfect
and the questions about the emojis) and how to deal with them in a constructive
way.
I look forward to reading more from this series and highly recommend this book to anyone with children and toddlers.

Pam has been an early childhood music educator for over twenty-five years with a passion for singing, rhyming, reading stories, and making music with preschoolers.
When Pam noticed that some children seemed unfamiliar with traditional nursery rhymes, and that parents and teachers were avoiding them because of their outdated, dark, and inappropriate nature, she set out to modernize them. Nursery Rhymes for Kinder Times® provides a memorable way to build language, musicality, and literacy through songs, stories and rhymes that nurture kindness, empathy, and gratitude. The inclusion of resources that support social and emotional learning (SEL) make it easy for parents and teachers to engage with the children they love.
The rhymes in the book can also be enjoyed as songs on the Nursery Rhymes for Kinder Times album recorded by Raffi and Lindsay Munroe, as well as in videos on the Nursery Rhymes for Kinder Times® Show on YouTube. (www.linktr.ee.com/forkindertimes)
Aside from making music with young children, Pam loves dogs and dark chocolate. She lives in New York with her husband, and loves when her children, grandchildren, and granddogs come to visit!
Pam collaborated with Dan and Catherine Markowitz for art and design of the book.
