Paris is one of my favorite cities and I enjoyed learning
about it through the eyes of the main character Vivienne. What begins as any other Sunday ends with a
lesson in embracing our senses to enjoy what our community has to offer. Her first stop was to see her Papy encouraged.
He encouraged her to go to her favorite places while taking the time to notice
what her heart and body told her.
Off we went to explore Paris! I enjoyed riding alongside
Vivienne as she visited her favorite places. Each place offered the chance to engage
one of her senses and appreciate what they had to offer. It’s always fun to explore
a city from someone else's POV and this book does not disappoint.
As someone who took French in high school, I appreciate the use
of dual language throughout the book. The illustrations are gorgeous and did an
excellent job of bringing the story to life. I look forward to reading more from this author!
