Wow! What a ride this book was. Keeping Janie is the second
in the Southport series. I was privileged to be an advanced reader for the
first book Call Her Janie last June and I’ve anxiously been waiting for book 2
to come out. When I saw this tour, I jumped at the chance to catch up with
Lizzie Levine.
Reuniting with her daughter, Janie, should be the start of
Lizzie’s picture-perfect life. Behind the scenes, however, is a different
matter. The happiness of having her daughter back is overshadowed by the fear
and distrust of her ex-boyfriend, billionaire Gray Stone.

As with the first book, this book kept me engaged and totally
engrossed from start to finish. I stayed up way too late reading this
and it was totally worth it. I like how the characters have evolved and the
author does an excellent job of developing each one. Slowly releasing details
and letting us get to know them on a deeper level.
Filled with twists and turns you won't see coming combined
with strong familial relationships against the backdrop of a tight knight
community, this book has it all. A strong female lead (which I love) combined
with small town southern charm; I couldn't put this one down. I'm excited to
see what this author has in store for Lizzie in the third book!
